Homework: You have HW Monday through Thursday, with no HW on weekends (unless you have a project). Homework will be to solve four word problems a night. Every day, you will receive a packet with 4 problems (front and back). You must solve each problem using the following steps:

1. Read the problem s-l-o-w-l-y
2. Underline the question
3.Circle only the important data and information
4. Decide what strategy to use: (work backwards, find a pattern, write an equation, draw a picture, make a list, guess and check, etc.)
5. Show work!
6.Answer your question with your solution in a sentence. (Does it make sense?)
